Looking out the window of hope,
I wonder what life could be without the tracheotomy,
Free to breathe wild and carefree,
A world where beauty shines from within,
And scars are unseen.
Where dreams unfold,
And love is the language that’s spoken.

In this world, caregivers’ hopes align with ours,
To see us thrive.
Their dedication and love,
A constant presence,
From dusk till dawn’s light.

We invite you to enter our world,
To learn and understand.
We’re not defined by our tracheotomy—
We’re just like you, hand in hand.
